Ask for Activation Key?

I have the game installed for like years now... Decided to launch it up today and it asks for a key again? Wonder why...
Anyway i hope alex sees this and can resend me my key since i definetely haven't kept it around...

That's a bit odd; something must've gone wrong in the registry. In any case: just resent the key, sorry about the trouble!

Happens to me occasionally after I reinstall Java. There's an option to Delete Files under Temporary File Settings, and I believe the 'Installed Applications and Applets' subgroup will remove the Starsector key among other things. Or it could happen when you nuke Java-related folders and registry folders.
