Map Movement

Is there any reason why we have to make wide loops during overland map travel? I've been caught by too many fleets because I go into a spin trying to get into a sector from hyperspace instead of of simply moving directly onto it.

Turn off Travel Mode to increase your fleet's acceleration, so you stop looping.

Yeah, sounds like you need to turn Sustained Burn off once in a while.  ;)

Also, if you are diving into a corona to get a research station or quest derelict, sometimes the only way to reach it is to turn off sustained burn.

The 'push' from the corona gives an acceleration that increases the closer you get, so you can get deeper with the higher acceleration normal drive.

This is what Emergency Burn is really for now, ignore terrain.  Sustained Burn is usually great for almost everything, except penetrating solar wind to reach a juicy target.
