So I'm just starting out with the basics and right now with my first modding attempt I've added one ship (Defiant). Basic ship data and the cvs stuff. Game loaded fine.

Now I'm just curious to know how would this ship appear in game, with respect to shipyards and if the AI might start producing them. Would I need to take steps further to influence this or am I okay with what I've done so far and eventually stumble upon the new ship in the shipyards?


Any guidance would be appreciated.

To see if your ship is in a market or not, use the findship command in the Command Console mod. Otherwise use forcemarketupdate and check again.
