I am impressed, sir. I have yet to make the weapons floating around in my head, haha.

What I really want is a laser that takes a long time to charge up, short range, but massive freaking damage. Would be hard to hit stuff with if your timing is off, but so much fun.  :D

Great mod you got here, adds a good bit more variety to the main game. I am especially liking what you did with the missiles, as I felt there weren't that many choices there originally - and now there are. :D

Sounds a bit like a laser variant of the anti-matter blaster there... I like it!

There is the impaler burst laser that have a burst 50% more powerful than tachyon lances but medium range, or for a medium slot the heavy antimatter blaster

I'd love more missile variants because atm the selection is pretty crap. A heavy long range interceptor meant to one shot anything smaller then a cruiser would rock, put the salamander AI on it so it trys to avoid PD.

I want to see some area denial missiles! either cluster munitions or nukes. Multiple state missiles would also rock like the MIRV but bigger and more diverse, the sabot is in the right direction but its so damn slow. A missile with the range and speed of the pilum but exploded in a flak cloud or slowly deployed SRM's as it circled and tried to ram the engines. So instead of just bursting into abunch of little missiles with no range it would slowly divulge missiles providing a constant threat unless it was destroyed.

I'd like to see a wider MIRV that broke up earlier then spread its missiles in a big cloud before they sped towards their target from all sides designed to counter PD and shield slices.
