(Yeah, this is true, and it's more of an issue in hyperspace. I'll have to look at it sometime before the next release.)

I've been having the same issue with fps although not as bad. It's usually when I'm in hyperspace or when their are a lot of fleets on screen but large battle usually run fine enough for me. If anyone has them what are the up to date mods that lower the strain on the GPU/CPU?
