Warthogs are low tech (despite having midline engines)

Low Tech fighters; Broadswords, Warthogs, Talons, Hoplon Khopeshs, Piranhas, Mining Drone Auxiliaries 

Midline fighters; Gladius, Thunder 

High Tech fighters; Xyphos, Claws, Wasps, Daggers, Tridents, Longbows, Flashes, Sparks, Luxes, Lightning 

There are also built-in fighters

Huh.

I would not have guessed that Broadswords, Warthogs and Khopeshs are all low tech.

Their hulls look distinctly mid tech, along with their engine trails. And what with low tech being an 'all big gun' style era with a low focus on carriers when compared to the more diverse mid tech.

Yeah, Warthogs are Mid-tech, but I'll take some liberties with the Khopesh tech level for fairness purposes (also no Remnants):

Low Tech:
Broadswords, Mining Pod, Piranha, Talon.

Mid Tech:
Gladius, Khopesh, Thunder, Warthog.

High Tech:
Claw, Dagger, Longbow, Trident, Wasp, Xyphos, Lightning(SWP)

That way everyone has a bomber, and technically some flare/mines to trouble PD weapons.

Okay, we only need FOUR more participants to start the Tournament. Both the Diable and the Blackrock slots are still open for the taking so get in!

Additionally since the FLAGSHIP ruleset as overwhelmingly won the vote, there are some addendum to the rule page next to the inscription sheet.

Only THREE people needed to start the tournament!

Additionally, it seems that THI won't be ready in time so an additional Wildcard slot is available for the taking if your favorite faction was already taken. The other slots are Vanilla Low Tech and Diable Avionics.

really hope someone picks up the Diable Avionics fleet. im looking forward to seeing them in action again.

particularly looking to see if Diable and SCY end up fighting.

You won't be able to refit fighters and bombers at all. They're designed/balanced around having a particular set of weapons and would be very broken if you could change it. Which ones you pick for your fleet -out of quite a few that are available- is the choice here, not how they're outfitted.

FIRST ROUND

The first round will be streamed on Thursday June 22th around 9pm GMT. The fleets must be submitted 24h beforehand. However since it's the first round and there are a lot of newcomers, if someone can't get theirs done in time the first round will be delayed. The subsequent rounds however will have a hard deadline and missing fleets will automatically get duplicates of their previous submission to complete their ranks.

Yes. But all the default ones are only 1k-2k so they won't set you back too much.

Can we get a clarification on the blacklist status of Neutrino Corp's Schwarzgeist bombers please? 
They are not on the current blacklist (neutrino_schwarzgeist)

16K cost, 20 OP for two fighters with armed with Sapper SRM Pack & Photon Torpedo Launcher (Precharged) ...and 800 hull sitting under 200150 (two hundred thousand, one hundred and fifty) armour
