The game randomly freezes, requiring me to force quit it. The time between freezes varies greatly, from hours to minutes. The final lines in starsector.log are:

Also, maybe not enough RAM? Some sort of system specs would be awesome.

Possibly worth installing OpenAL, here:

To see if it helps. Hard to say what the problem is, though - did you happen to adjust the maximum officer level, by chance? If that's set to >29, it may cause random hangs.

I have openAL installed and already tried reinstalling it. I had the max officer level at 30, I'll try lowering it to 29 and see if the freezes stop. Thanks for the help!
