You gotta be honkin kiddin me.

Woah, two pulsar stars that close to each-other. Some hardcore anomaly going on right there as being near a pulsar is a hazard on its own but being near those two pulsars makes one ponder the destructive scale on a whole new level.

A star circling a black hole

At least the black hole is the main hazard there.. unless the star happens to go out while near it at the very wrong certain time.

I'm actually impressed by how the accretion disk seems to correctly follow the star.

imagine this place at its height!

Spoiler
decivilized doesn't mean depopulated though (consider maxos!) imagine the hellish conditions their isolated floating atmospheric stations must be experiencing at the moment after hundreds of cycles without resupply. i sold the data to the church and i like to think it was to the same internal sect that stewards beholder station.

I think that's more of a "it's a gas giant with vast ruins which is decivilised, implying that there's a ton of floating platforms/habitats in the atmosphere with people still living on/in them" thing.
Which is not the sort of thing any old space faring dudes can do. Domain were serious biz, apparently.

oh this is new.

Spoiler

(my experience has been that volcanic worlds are rife with ores and metals! i wonder it's because unknown skies rebalances those odds; that'd be neat.)

It's a bug. For some reason planets added to some biome types do not get any of the ascociated conditions on them.
