New mechanic: Derelict Ship or debris field (Pirate Trap)

Is that a derelict ship you're approaching or the trap of a patient pirate. EMP bombs work quite well at disabling your engines as a pirate group reveals itself nearby and attacks.

Could be fun. Could be awful. Absolutely sounds like something the underhanded elements would try to pull off.

Heh, devious.

But, with the number of players that were already crying about E-Burning pirates slamming into them "out of nowhere", I don't think this would go over too well... >_>

That is more along the lines of "They spam E Burn going after you in a large fleet while you are still in your starting fleet, completely ignoring logistics and supply costs"
