Error: Null

Hi, I just installed the game for the first time but when I went to run the game, it loaded up and immediately crashed, saying "fatal:null" after checking my log, I went to the end where it said "

I am using
Windows 10
Intel CORE i7
the graphics drivers are up to date
64xbit Java

I have reinstalled it to try again butto no avail. Any help is appreciated

Hi - sorry about the trouble! What resolution are you running the game at? This could happen if you're running at 4k, I'd suggest at most half that - the game's not going to look good at a super-high resolution, anyway.

Also, a reboot is always good to try, if you haven't recently.

Thanks for that, as I was trying it at 4k. I just lowered it to 1920x1080 and was able to get to the main menu, but now the mouse is only able to cover half of the screen/not sync'ed with the display so I can't click anything. Any further advice?

Hmm. Are you running with "fullscreen" checked in the launcher?

Something to try might be running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7; not entirely sure what the steps for that are on Windows 10.

A bit more digging around:

Properties -> Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

Could do it. Just toggle it to the opposite of whatever it's set to now and give it a shot.
