that's why I focus on the sprite modding. cutting and pasting, allows the artwork to stay closer to the standard.

I think the main guy is painting them on his computer, then reducing the size.

I would love to get together some Babylon 5 ships. I helped with the babylon 5 mods for Escape velocity and Override years ago, too bad I cant retrieve those files anymore since they're mac based and too low res.

I use paint.net which let's me make layers. I use the lasso tool to cut out chunks and paste them to other chunks. I use the hue slider to change the color to match when needed.

it's like how I made this fighter. I took a bigger ship then scaled it down. (this was before a hue shift and minor pixel tweaking)
