Yes, it turns out it was an innocent 1st of April joke, sorry to everyone that had a mini-heart-attack seeing this... But you know, it possibly only one year early!

Does it mean Workshop will be available with this in the near future (It is very likely.)

Is now able to cook a decent Creamy Salmon Pasta, amok other things.

Still loves purple. Still not skilled enough to make a mod that doesn't get that one damn error.

I certainly hope not, I dont want to pay 5-10 or more $ for a mod if said modder dosn't get all of it, and I dont want to give valve money when they don't deserve it.

Personaly id rather not pay for a mod to begin with, but thats just me being cheap and dirty. ;D

I'm more concerned by their "we-own-everything-you-create" EULA concerning the workshop.

Yeah thats troubling aswell, I'd say we keep the mods here, even if starsector goes on steam.

holy crap! somebody put a lot of effort into this! ;P


also, i would totally pay for SS mods. but i agree that doing so over workshop is just about the worst way to do it. :/

The current Starsector EULA formally forbid paid mods... But that's about the only limitation put on them. It must be the most lenient EULA concerning mods I ever saw.

to create and distribute Mods of the Game, provided you don't charge for the Mod
itself or its distribution in any way.  Selling or otherwise charging for the
access or use of Mods shall be a violation of this License and shall constitute

shall have no responsibility for any Mods created or used by you, and you hereby
agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Fractal Softworks harmless from and against

Hey i`m curious , will we get a steam key if we own the game from the  pre-steam era?
