Hahaha. In a way yes.  Actually wozmir answered you, but you probably did not understand it and you thought he asked what rank is your crew.

Starsector+ adds a feature where you pay your crew daily. Losing money happens because of you paying your crew. The higher rank you crew is, the more you pay each.

Ah, of course I forgot to say the helpful part XD

If you go in the Starsector+ folder there is a file called startOptions.json. Right click on it and open it with notepad.

There is a line "crewSalaries":true,

Just change that to "crewSalaries":false,

It's a monthly salary paid out in daily increments.

People really should play the vanilla, unmodded game for 20 or so hours before they jump into mods so as to avoid confusion like this. -_-

Especially with extensive modes such as these. Also, as a concept, sallaries were 'calculated' in supply cost in vanilla.

Indeed for vanilla the game does not need to pay extra salaries for sure. With SS+ though and having boss battles and some person bounties going up to 500000, I think salaries are just a good reason to go after such bounties once in a while and of course get the ship that halves the crew needed XD

That line doesn't seem to exist. I also added it in myself, and nothing changed. Still have a giant salary.
