This update MAY BREAK YOUR SAVES.

Small new addition to Diable's roaster: the Arbitrator Z-class rocketeer, a cheap bomber option. As well as the usual load of minor fixes and balance tweaks.




Changelog:

NEW CONTENT:

 - Arbitrator Z bomber:
   . Twin fuselage Arbitrator.
   . Loaded with Plover rockets.

BALANCING:

 - Flicker Core ship-systems:
   . Regen delay increased to 20s from 10/15s.
   . Charges increased by 1.

 - Haze-class cruiser:
   . Removed 2 small sideways turrets.
   . Down-sized medium universal turret to small.
   . OP adjusted accordingly.

 - SRAB Heavy Emitter :
   . Shots speed increased by 50%.

 - Pandemonium-class dreadnought:
   . Added built-in High-Maintenance hullmod.

BUGFIXES/IMPROVEMENTS:

 - Gust/Pocket Gust system:
   . Control isn't transfered to the fighters when the player ship is in auto-pilot and use the Ship-System. Regular fighter buff is still applied.

 - New Nexerelin starting options.

 - Removed Uhlan Artillery chargeup for better AI behavior.

 - Opfer Artillery improved sound and animation.

I noticed that the weapon for the new fighter shows up in marketplaces. I bought one for laughs. It was a bad weapon on ships. But it's good on the new wings

I think Frost may need an adjustment pass. Fill a Heron with 3x Frost and watch it tear into an Astral. It easily beats Spark, Khophesh, Warthog or any other fighter or bomber I've tried in both anti-fighter and anti-ship roles. Its 'shotgun' is obscenely powerful and chews through armor fast. They also die rarely, but I think that has mostly to do with them being so good at killing threats quickly rather than any defensive stat.

YMMV, but to me there's an issue when I put Frosts in every fighter slot and just ditch the bombers and more expensive craft cause I don't need 'em.

O.9.0a COMPATIBILITY UPDATE

Requires LazyLib
Requires MagicLib

Please note that this is a very barebone compatibility update that do not yet leverage all the new fancy stuff we got from 0.9. A properly integrated version will come later when I have fewer fires to put out.

Diable Avionics now REQUIRES MagicLib to work. While having an additional library to get may look like an inconveinience, it will help avoid a lot of bugs and should lead to better performances overall.

Quick hotfix for the flux issues on Diable weapons. I didn't noticed that the value now had to be "per bullet" in the weapon description file and not "per shot" as before. Appologies, the links have been updated.

He said this is only a barebones compatibility update.
Of course the mod isn't going to integrate any of the new 0.9 patch mechanics.

Given that you are the only one to report it, I suspect this has  nothing to do with Diable. But impossible to tell for sure without a log and mod list.

I can't transfered to the fighters when using the Gust ship system after DA 1.93, neither ss 0.8.1a + DA 1.94 nor ss 0.9a + DA 1.99.
I am not using auto-pilot, the ship system seems still only give buff to the fighter but not transfer to the fighters.
Am i missing something?
