Various mod issues. Help most certainly needed!

Okay, so I'm having (what appears to be several) issues with getting any kind of faction, ship, weapon, or total conversion mods to work at all. I have done what appears to be everything that all the mods ask for, but to no avail.

I have attached a picture of the error message that I get from trying to use Starsector+ as an example, in the hopes that somebody can possibly help me out with this. 

I really want to get these mods working, because I've seen a lot of them in action and they really to make the game a whole lot bigger.

(The radar mod works though.....yay?)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Currently, Starsector+ isn't updated to 0.7 yet, so that is the most likely cause. It would be best to wait until they get updated, or find other mods to use instead.

But it's like this with every single faction mod I've tried (And believe me, friendo...I have tried them all XD) 

Here is an error report with two mods that are up to date  (Interstellar Imperium and Knights Templar)  Which also do not work. This is killin' me :(

Looks like a corrupted/incomplete Starsector install. Try to uninstall everything before relaunching the game's installer.

and not

Fractalsoftworks/starsector/starsector-core/mods    ?

might just have them in the wrong folder. i could also be reading the error wrong.

The path is correct, since it's starsector-core/../mods, which should take it up a directory and then look for the mods folder.

Does the game work without any mods enabled?

This depends on where you are using your mods and what you are launching SS with. The mods need to be in the core folder if you are using the batch file to launch the game. If you are using the .exe to launch the game, then you use the mods folder in the starsector folder.
Also are you fully deleting SS before you reinstall. Because if you aren't you could still possibly get a bad install

I'm using the exe to launch it. It launches perfectly fine without mods. I can use the Radar mod just fine....but that and the mods you need to make other mods work are the only mods I can have ticked and still have the game run. If I tick any single other mod, be it SS+ or any one of the faction mods, I get an error message similar to the one I've last shown you all, with the exception that the error message gets increasingly bigger, depending on how many of the faction mods I have ticked.  I've tried using only the mods that are currently up to date, to see if it is a version issue, but to no avail.

Mods should never ever be in the core folder. That was a bug in 0.65a that has been long since corrected.

You are most likely using an outdated mod that contains a sounds.json file.
I scanned my old mod folder for the previous version and ICE and Interstellar Imperium contained a reference to that sound file.

The 0.7a version of Interstellar Imperium no longer contains that reference.

Make absolutely sure that you are using only mods that are compatible with the current game version.

I have been using this version,    http://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=8007.0     Along with the mods needed to make it work. Is that the right one? 

But in all fairness, it's like this for, Fleaden New Regime, Flu-X, Citadel Fleet and The Nihilic Empire. All of which are updated to be compatible with the newest version, but I still can't get them to work, ya know? :/

Exactly what mods are you using? What versions of the mods are you using? Simply stating that they don't work doesn't help anyone.
