Smugglers changing factions is a leftover from previous versions. It was meant to emulate the transponder behaviour.

When attacking smugglers, make sure you approach them with your transponder off and leave no witnesses if you plan to hang around their destination area.
I think it's suppose to be this way,anyone who trade with pirates should be treated as pirate as well.

here is some advise:
1 avoid the storm, dont go the shortest way without using your brain to navigate
2 dont accept any commssion until you are ready to
3 dont board any ship that you dont need, and never try to benefit from selling ships

almost all your concern has explaination in the patch log, you could find your answers there. if you are not happy with the changes go ahead and play 652

Why the Insulated Engine Assembly?

It's for those times, when I overestimate my abilities and have to run away :D
What she really need is safety override and hardened subsystem. Then you know how insane she can be.  ;D

In II 1.9.1  siege is the best way to make a ton of money. In 1.9.2 it's still the way but less hardcore.

My impression with this mod:
1. Ships seem to be really under-powered, bad shield average flux stat, average mobility.The only good thing is that they could carry a tons of missiles :P
2. Their weapons are not quite impressive, except for the missiles.
3. Fighter wings seem to be very strong sadly I am not a fan of fighters.
4. Overall it's well balanced compare to NC

Any Idea how to use the famousbountystage command? I think I could set its value from 1 to 26, I will give it a try if I could retry the mission I have missed.

After how long will a bounty misson be expired. I have a bounty misson cancelled after 3 months or longer...

Not sure if it is a bug I have never seen the AI firing a single Thunderbolt SRM so far.

I've added a tag in to thunderbolts that should make them fire more often, don't say you weren't warned... Lol.
don't worry, i will try to not be hostile with them. anyway even without thunderbolt, their missles are kicking my ass badly :P after a few tries i finallly gave up killing a 500k DA bounties. they fired so many missiles, i get 15fps with the shader lib disabled.... and 5 without. maybe you could work with the performance with the missile spam next time, they have loely trails but not performance friendly  ;D

Most of the ships are average, in another word, well balanced and some of the new weapons are pretty funny. I like this mod as it fit vanilla theme perfectly the only thing I dislike is the Chinese characters painted on the hulls, I could read Chinese and some of them are just ... ridiculous. That ? means grandmother or old lady... And if you use traditional Chinese character, it would look way better. For example Xu's ??(holy man)would have way better look in tradition Chinese characters -> or maybe just is enough.

P.S. Forgive me for the oversize images. This forum could not support Chinese characters...
