General Discussion / Fleet being too big help

It says my fleet is too big and i either get rid of ships or get a higher command points....how do i get higher command points?

I cant seem to figure out why windows 7 cant read some of the weapons data but XP can....i try to buy more crew but when i attempt to enter the stations weapons and crew buy it gives me an error saying it could not find a weapon data....even worse the installation isnt working as i tried to reinstal it 7 times but now it isnt giving me the new ships or the campaign mode and i have no idea why it installs the older version

some ships during explosions and whatnot turn into bloccky cubes like the fighters turned into squares whil flying. Starships and fighters being disabled will turn blocky most of the time. anyone else experiencing this?

i was able to edit the random ships able to come up and...i put a ship called the Omen class point defense ship and it come up in random but when it fires or comes into combat it makes the game skip and slow down...what would be the problem? and yes i put it in correctly

will there be a lan mode in the future...so i may battle missions with another person in the same house and make the rpg mode able to go head to head in real time and conquer the galaxy with or against eachother :)

will there be heavy fighter like the gladius for the high tech people...seems all the have is wasp interceptor and gladius seems to mop the floor with most things

Suggestions / Repair ships

There should be ships that can repair other ships...they will have low armor and speed but can repair the ships(not the fighters unless you say otherwise). Make it so it can also fix the allied and your neutralized ships(the process will take long). This may give ships a second chance to redeem themselves.

Suggestions / New state of the art weapon

There should be a weapon called the Gunsat(or a diffrent name like Orbital Plasma Satellite Defence System...or OPSDS)  which is a drone that orbits around the ships firing repeating blasters at high speeds. This weapon should get very limited ammo. I picked up this idea a long time ago from Asteroids for the ps1....im not saying copy that im saying make something of the sorts. Second option would be make it fire much slower but be 3(ammount varies by ship size) permanent destroyable Gunsat's around a ships. This weapon can be a fun one to use and its very unique...makes me wonder why this kind of weapon isnt used at all...

Their should be a "Galaxy Mode" Where you travel and fight in a generated large world. Random wars take place and you can choose multiple varieties such as being a fighter for a fleet...a mercenary....a money tycoon or many other things...you can choose from the different factions and choose different random missions. You have to earn money to buy different ships and weapons or hire captains unless a mission gives you one...your captain learns or you can train the captain or captains in your fleets to become better....you can even build your own base outpost with defense systems(i wonder why there is never outposts or defense systems other than the ships...like a powerful point defense turret). Or if you want you can make your own nation to combat or make peace with others. You can lay siege to planets or offer aid to struggling ones(if it goes well you may have your own planet). Everything can happen in real time(if you choose you like this). When you control a nation you can send forces or reinforcements to certain battles. You can build factories to produce ships at a price or other buildings for upgrades,training or assisting other ships or planets. These are a few suggestions that i wanna help give but for now i wanna see what you guys think of these ideas so far.

Suggestions / Shields and flux

I was looking at the shields on your website to one of your massive ships and saw how massive the bubble of the shield was. The problem is i dont think the weapons will be able to fire far enough to defend that wide of a circle and the enemies can shoot from far away to hit it without trouble and plz forgive me if im wrong about the weapons ranges being too short to defend it. I sent a picture of the ship to show you the size of the bubble. My suggestion is a what i like to call a wrap shield which is a shield that protect the ships by taking the outside of the ships shape or at least make kind of an oval shield. Im wondering also about the flux. It seems it makes it so you cant use all the weapons at once but what about the auto defences...do these take flux and if so why? It seems like a system thats a hinder and slows down the game a bit but thats my oppinion

Do carriers slowly or at a moderate pace produce ships or just store them. Can you become a carrier and will there be a high class one
