Suggestions / Moderator Closed my topic for no reason

Gothars closed my Moniitor topic claiming it "Sounds like a rant. Closed". Im sorry but are people not allowed to rant anymore? Is this Soviet Russia now? I cant even *** swear anymore really? Is this preschool time or something because if it is I can call peoples parents. Even more so if you cant take criticism then you dont deserve to be in the business of game design do you? As far as I can tell I have noticed the mods on here getting soft and preaching fair language and yet we are adults so any more rules that are being put in here for no reason?

Gothar you closed my topic for no reason while not making any argument to back the claim that it was "sounding" like at rant nor did you rebut the  facts that I laid out. The ship is WAY to tanky even without the fortress shields. Putting avoid on them does not fix the problem nor does it help your case. And if you make ships avoid the Monitor then they have to avoid everyone around him and do you really think the ai can be trusted atm? Not to mention its a frigate so good luck avoiding something running at your face because it knows it can.

If you are going to censor me again just spit it out. If you do I can resort to ranting about it on youtube if it triggers you that much and give it a lot of bad press. This is the internet buddy stop getting triggered over words that happen to mean bad things. What is your definition of Ranting and Suggestion because I get the feeling you kind of blurred that line there. Are you making the assumption right now that rants are a bad thing to begin with?

This things tank needs to be toned down like a mother fucker. It tanks so much even WITHOUT the fortress shields but the fact it HAS fotress shields makes it only killable by the faulty CR system. Yep lost a fight and had to reloud because hgalf my damn fleet is forced to fight one monitor for half the fight because that ship is cancer.

Anyone else notice that the machine gun or dual machine gun deal insane kinetic damage. Not usually a problem on a ship due to its low range but on a broadsword it deals insane shield damage even to my cruiser. The vulcan doesnt do that same ammount so why is the machine gun doing it? It just breaks the game

Can we nerf this thing already? Why does it do good against both shield and armor. Shouldnt it bounce off shields doing almost nothing? Instead they are a cancer with too much range and fielded by many of the enemy ships....hmm...wonder why? Its not fun to use them as I sit in the back and deal free damage for no reason and even the computer is adapting itself to send me hate mail every time I use that tactic. It is just an all around too good of a gun. Guass cannon does the same thing but at least that thing generates a lot of flux but the HVC doesnt cost anything. Theres no joy in this gun for anyone

This game became a disappointment as time went on. The start off of the game is impossible with very little chance of reasonable match ups....most the ships just kite you and no real fight happens and if there's more then 1 then you are just straight up ***....way to Ultima 9 this game. Point is this game had potential but the beginning is so damn bad its a wonder people still play this game. I am sorry I paid money for this

I dont understand what needs to use so much date...I even gave it up to 4 GB of ram and it still lags...even with no mods. Everything else on my computer runs solid....even Eve Online when I get into big fights its still smooth but for some reason this game is like an obese fat kid that goes "FEED ME Seymour.....FEEEED MEEE" and Im just like "I GAVE YOU ENOUGH DAMMIT". I can also run Distant Worlds Universe which is also a hog a bit but...something about this game that it doesnt want to run smoothly or something. Even Worse I reformtted recently and now things run even better....except this game

I think the weapon is too good...has kinetic AND explosive damage so you cant tank with either armor or shield. and it has so much range...the harder fleet just has 12 ships with these and they flood you with all of those cannons and theres nothing you can do about it

This feuture has ruined this game...and I just lost my game because Im stuck in a situation I cant get out of because for some *** reason the enemy has great radar...*** they can see you across the map and are already on there way. I mean I guess I shouldnt be surprised I mean it is a metaphor for how the game is going...and no dont tell me to give advice because every and I mean EVERY *** game I give advice to goes victory or sovengaurd and they disregard my advice and choose *** sovengaurd *** everytime. This feature has ruined the whole game in one fell swoop

Well this new Radar system made me nearly smash my keyboard in frustration since you have old man vision so i have to say I am not playing this anymore and may consider a refund if I feel I need it. You know what this radar systems smells like...I smell it too...start with "Be" and ends in "Trayal"

Anyone else feel like the onslaught has gotten too out of control...the laser cannons doesnt make sense at all and the thing has waaay too much armor...I think it has more then before. Even worse its now been given weapons that are both good against shields AND armor so any weakness it did have is gone. I thought the Onslaught was supposed to be primitive and here we are giving it lasers and new weapons....kinda skews the ship and the story lore wise doesnt it?

The game has got wat damn bigger and because of that i feal that the program wasnt ready for it...everytime i try to load a later game in Exerlin mod it gives me this memory heap error..take a look

Im having a big issue with the game itself crashing on me. It crashes the java which i updated and even worse it does it at random. It starts by making the loading into battle and battle related things freeze momentarily and then it suddenly crashes giving me a ( Fatal: Ship hull variant [variant id] not found! Check starfarer.log for more info)

i dont know what variant is but whatever it is its legit *** me off...i wanna play the game and i love this game but regardless of the mod and even when its off and its vanilla it crashes....ive dealt with this for months as every 5 minutes it crashes. Will next update fix this for sure please?
