Alternatively, you can somehow grind up rep with the Ahriman Association since they have Exigency ships and gear.

BTW, anybody noticed that Blackrock is the first faction mod to finally breach the 100 page limit on the forum? Congratz Cyc.

In my mind, it's what happen when there's a recreational drugs glut on Blackrock, they design new stuffs.

I'd assume that a comm relay in hyperspace would make it so you could gain Diable Avionics reputation anywhere in hyperspace rather than just near Eclipse, as it'd be intended.

The transforming wanzers look incredible, by the way. Looks like things have vastly improved for wanzer technology since Front Mission 3. :v

It's particularly the Silverfish mod with the extra missile mounts that I run with. 3 Tactical Lasers and some Swarmers are what I use on mine. I just let the AI tackle and soften stuff with them so I can fly in and get the kill. In a frigate pack it's frighteningly effective and it just gets better the more points into technology you get.

Just chiming in to say I finally got my hands on a Jesuit and it owns. Easily one of the most entertaining ships I've flown around solo.

The Schism Drive really does tack down how it feels to be a flying space sword.

I wonder if there should also be a tier list of weapons (obviously just the top 3 or 4 for size since many solid ships tend to have universals). It'd certainly help differentiate the wheat from the chaff.

Not sure what happened, but I fired up a new file and trying to access the DA trade screen late game makes Starsector lock up and pins CPU usage to 97% (!!) and memory usage creeps up from 5GB to 6. Buying ships worked fine, on the other hand.

The heavy cruiser makes an *insane* missile spammer, even though it's meant to use ballistics. Being able to fit a ton of Pilums (or coasting pods if you're using SCY) is just insane.
