When 6 low tech bombers come at me and i just fire 5 Harpoons one for each and they all hit (and kill) their targets before thay cna release any bombs.

So how can I get ships to restock?  They're out of everything and stuffed with junked ships I captured.  Nothing spawns anymore.  Weapons keep getting restocked, but not ships.  I'm talking about no restock from level 20 to level 50.

They do restock in my game... all but the pirates.

Hegemony has 3 onslaughts and 2 Atlas.
Tri has 2 Pargons and 2 Ody

Only the pirates capital tab stay empty since i bought that lone conquest it was stocked with.

I used:

Mjolnir in all large slots (it's a middle of the road weapon good against everything.
Heavy maulers in the smaller ones (long range armor chewing ability to keep up with Mjolnir)
Tactical lasers in all small slots (complete with PD AI and advanced gyros)
Umm... purble beam thing in medium energy slots (because it's pretty flux effectint for a medium weapon)
2 mirvs in front (you don't really have to move the entire ship to face enemies with those missiles since they are pretty agile)
Annihilator racks on the sides (they are kinda useless so using LRMs would be probably a better idea since the aiming arc on those hardpoints is just that bad).

PD tactical lasers with gyros are imo the best small PD in the game. Same range as burst lasers and higher damage then regular LR PD lasers, also inlike burst lasers it keeps the hurt going till you have the flux. They're no flak cannons but they even do well against annihilator swarms as the beam just moves from rocket to rocket instead of getting the first 3 and then reloading for ages.

In the state the game is now i'd rather say OP skills are overpowered in comparison to the rest unless ship OP get lowered in general and deciding between mounting a hellbore + vents or a Gauss gun becomes a decision.

Right now with extra 50% OP i can just spam railguns, dual flak, heavy maulers and gauss guns on the Onslaught and still install 100 vents AND nearly a page of mods.

Same with the conquest that with several mods and skills can almost outrun a burndriving onslaught.

And i'm not going to even get started on the Paragon (let's just say that with proper skills and mods i could tank 3 Onslaughts at once and force them to retreat or be killed).


Simply put... with extra 50% OP there are no hard decisions in the shipyard because if you want it you can just take it.

I installed the mod and:

Making Ore seems to be totally ineffective cost wise (unless you want to spawn fleets)
I can't find the "free scrapper stuff" contract anywhere. The scrappers have contracts for small, med, large, huge patrol fleets but not the one i look for.

I had some succes with harpoons when fighting bombers (pihranas especially).

Just wait till they appear on the scanner and fire a volley of 1 missile per bomber and poof they're gone of badly damaged.

Hi i'm new here.

Metal Boxes - You attempt to board every ship you disable no matter how banged up it looks. (Drastic increase of the number of captureable ships, many of them turn out to be damaged beyond repair but the rate of captures increases overall).

Part'o'mancer - As a kid you loved to tamper with things you didn't know the workings of. One day after reducing a laser rifle to mere spare parts and putting it back together you realized you still have parts left and the rifle was working with no visible side effects.
(allows scavenging of owned ships for extra supplies. Works only once per ship)
Fighter/bomber wing - 10
Frigate - 50
Destroyer - 150
Cruiser - 250
Battleship - 500

Face of a criminal - You look exacly like a well known (and hated) space pirate. You recieve huge diplomatic penalties with factions that fight piracy but also a large bonus when it comes to dealing with pirates. However the pirate you mimic seems to be somewhat annoyed by this.
