that picture is true,
but instead of looking at axactly at the place the light hits the ship we look from far away.
This combined with the fact that the spaceship hull is not perfectly flat like in the picture you posted makes it so the light is a bit fuzzy,
so yea your both right.  ;)

your off to a good start but i would suggest making sketches before hand to figure out the basic shape
and get more depth in it.
in other words I think you need to make the parts layered cause now it looks a bit flat.  :)
also important to know is that bsf doesn't really add shading to the sprite so this has to be done afterwards.
If you need help with the shading there are some guides in the toolbox (stikied thread in the modding resources section).

i have not much to complain psiyon x)
the ship looks really good.
just wondering, in star sector most ships with the same size as that sprite are considered slow yet the ship look really fast.
more like a frigat or destroyer.

well we can actually stay on earth forever...
just not when we keep on multiplying x).
just a couple days ago i heard an artist talk about how kids should take pills in order to stop their growth.
for the simple reason that when everybody is just fifty centimeters we can sustain like four times the amount of people.
imagen having people of 50 centimeters being send to mars. they need less food and space ,so it will be easier to sustain a colony with them.

ps. dont forget cancer, having just 25% of the normal amount of cells also reduces his chance to occur.

the fuzzyness of the edges is there because the light we see is that which is reflected from the space ship, the material of the plating there is not perfectly smooth and so the reflected light will spread out.

good to see you back.
was actually wondering when you would show up with your ships again.
The ship looks really good, but maybe it would be nice if another color was added, like red paint or something similar.
