i spontaneously got this idea.
after i made if i got the hint from ImaffoI that it could better be used as a drone.
so i did ^ ^.

its a bit different from the ships i seen. :3

its a drone used to overload capacitors from ships with and without shields on.
they swarm around larger ships dodging fire and overloading them to let other ships finish it off.

use the size of the original starfarer sprites.

Just to show you a quick sprite i did as a test for my first sprite ever, Its not
done yet as i dont have the tools to make the background transparent, Tell me what you think, baring in mind i used the battleships forever ship editor just for me to learn :)

sorry for the late reaction. didnt have much time to react before.
i just wanted to ask if you were planning on giving it some more... colour?
good work on the detail though.

i didnt kitbash it.
didnt even looked at it while making it.
all pixel are personally made by me. i didnt copy anything from other ships that i didnt make.
If you zoom in it is quiet obvious.
I use paint.net so it is clearly not as smooth and detailed as the real starfarer ships.
so i have never kitbashed, i am not kitbashing and i will probaply not kitbash in the futere. ^ ^
Kitbash ships can look really nice and all, but i just like to fully create ships my own.

but the last post wasn't about that carrier it was about the cruiser next to it. ^ ^

The independed cruiser
(no name yet)
Its on the far right

Assault cruiser.

This cruiser has 8 small universal mounts ,2 small missle and 5 medium universal.
The cruiser is based on the principal kill or be killed.
It has low armor, hull and vents, so it is not mend to withstand long fights,
although this will not be needed since the cruiser got more mounts than many other ships of his size.
It is commonly used in small mercenairy fleets due to his high speed for his size.
these fleet like to hunt down smaller fleets and profit from these quick fights.
In larger mercenairy fleet, they rather stay a distance away from any close combat, since they are quiet funrable.
The cruiser is than mounted with missles which is quiet easy to do with the many universal mounts that it posseses.

hint : try to mount lots of fighter and missle protection on it ,since it doesnt have much armor and shield.

the coffin was just a ship i posted. A test from happyface. If the maker of the Onerar want to use it, ill post the sprite.
That'd be me, and I like the ship. ;D
If you really want to use it.
i dont mind improving it a bit, since my skill in sprite making has increased. ^ ^
Just tell me if you want that and what improvements you would like.

I am doing the sprites for the independed mercenaries
and i am looking for people to comment on them before i start
on the big ones.

1e a transport ship for cargo, fuel and troops
2 small universal mounts and 1 medium missle
it probaply had an omni shield with average arc
It will mainly be used for transportation for medium sized fleet,
cause it has has less speed penalty than fuelships and cargo ships.

2e-3e frigats
Allready submitted.
I just put them in so it is easy to compare.

4e carrier
3 small universal and 1 medium universal
the 2 small aim to the left and 1 aims to the back.
the medium aim to the front.
the right side of this carrier will be his weakness(blindspot).
omni shield with average arc.
2 decks for fighters

Trylo really good sprites. like the style of your crafts.
it's not like anything that is allready in the game.^ ^
Allthough i personally thing the big one looks a bit too fragile,
but thats just my personal opinion.
