So, uh, like the title says.

Don't have access to any other devmode features as far as I can see, no mods, reinstalled the game and deleted user files so this is from a fresh install. I presume there's some remnant data from previous modded playthroughs that are causing this, any tips on how to fix this?

Edit: Seems like I get this option at every jump point, but nowhere else.

Bug Reports & Support / Says "NO DC" at the top left of game's screen.
« on: April 28, 2021, 08:36:46 PM »
Updated to the latest hotfix and at the top left of the screen I'm greeted with the text NO DC. It appears on the launcher as well as ingame screen, and didn't do it before the I installed the most recent update. Appears with or without mods, haven't yet tried to reinstall the game and it doesn't seem to be tied to anything in the Options menu.

Bug Reports & Support / 0.7a crash after helping allies win a battle
« on: November 19, 2015, 12:22:56 PM »
Got my first crash. It was after I helped a Tachyon patrol fight a bunch of *** Luddic Path fleet. Here's the error log.

Suggestions / Modded fleets and fleet name readability.
« on: September 26, 2015, 06:54:09 AM »
In some mods, fleets and fleet names can become exceedingly difficult to spot and read depending on the colour. Are there any plans on adding a brighter background or something on the nametag to fix this, instead of changing each mod individually?

Suggestions / Too much reliance on a single resource; Supplies.
« on: December 25, 2013, 03:06:44 AM »
As the title reads, I feel there is too much reliance on a single ingame resource which is Supplies. It is literally used for everything in the game, and every action you take affect it. Too much crew? Supply penalty. Took a hit in combat? Have to repair, which costs supplies. Low CR? Supplies to bring it up to manageable level. Accident? You damage a ship, take a CR hit, perhaps lose some stuff in the process. All which in the end affect Supplies. It's a single resource which is used for everything, and this is excruciatingly annoying.

My suggestion is to split it up into either two or three parts in order to distribute the burden over several resources, so you are no longer dependant exclusively on Supplies.

Each resource would have its own function;

  • Resource for crew upkeep
  • Resource for ship repair
  • Resource for ship CR

These items can obviously be made to affect one another in some way or remain exclusive, and it's fully possible to only use two instead of all three, as long as the player is not solely dependant on Supplies.

Thoughts?
