Derelict and Remnant Blueprint Mod
0.1.0

Description: A small Starsector mod that enables two blueprint packages, one for Derelicts and the other for Remnants. These respectivbe blueprints include all of the ships, weapons and fighter wings (vanilla or added by mods) as blueprints. These blueprints operate based on the pre-existing 'derelict' and 'remnant' tags that exist. Tested against (almost) all mods on the forum successfully. Blueprints, as implemented, have a drop rate of 0.01 for Remnants and 0.02 for Derelicts.

Description: Enables mobile versions of the 'vanilla' stations, for all three tiers of Low Tech, Midline and High Tech as 'ships with modules'. Station statistics are modified, such as reducing the OP for sub-modules from 1000 to a more sensible number (currently 250). Current version has several Low Tech variants for Tier 1, 2 and 3. Vessels obtainable via blueprint, either as individual blueprints (for one variation) or as packaged for all designs in a tier.

Current Features:
  • 6 Mobile Stations: Station, Battlestation and Starfortress for Low Tech, Midline and High Tech
  • 9 Low Tech Variations (total) for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3
  • One [REDACTED]
  • Obtainable via: Rare Blueprint, Blueprint Packages (or console commands)

Planned Additions:
  • Balancing: Working on finding good mix of speed, acceleration, supply-usage and so forth.
  • More Stations / Variants: I like large space vessels and I will not prevaricate.
  • Integration into Fleets / Factions: Working to determine rarity based on current distribution of special / capital-class vessels.
  • More [REDACTED]: Chance to encounter dangerous things out in the depths of space.
