Gotta say, I really love this mod. There's just something glorious in flying around in pink ships while blowing everything up.


Also are there any plans for more mod ships?
a mod aether shawl perhaps?

I doubt it would be that easy to change identities. Since i’d expect there to be descriptions of your face and whatever fleet you’re commanding circulating around.

Ohhhh thise ships look amazing! All that’s left to wait for now is Tiandong and the LOA rework. Also does this mean that Knights Templar will be the next one to get updated?

I don't understand why the [Redacted] that we find stay dormant even when they are detecting my fleet (they turn blue what's more).


They don’t “turn” blue. It’s just because they get close enough that you can identify them.

It doesn’t. All it does is add a bunch of ships (with a few unique ones) to the current factions. Somebody probably already answered your question but eh what’s the harm \_(._.)_/

This are pretty minor but would it be possible to:


Change the launcher button "Clear" to a toggle? Reason for this is whenever I switch computers or update, it gets a bit tedious selecting all 20 mods to be enabled.

Ship name generator taking from a pool of faction specific names.

Also may I ask why the fullscreen/windowed settings are in the launcher and not the game itself? Not suggesting this. If it were easy or even possible i’d think it would be in the game already.

A 'reroll ship name' button when you own a ship and want to change the name but are too lazy to come up with a new one.  ::)


I'm not sure this is the right place to put it. Still though, I agree with this. Hopefully something that picks faction specific names for ships.

I really hope you’re right. One of my favorite things about energy weapons used to be the way you managed your flux to keep it as high as possible while still leaving some room for shields. One small miscalculation could end up in an overload and a really bad day.

One question, though; it's unclear how to add / subtract Wings in that dialog.  What's the hotkey?

Oops, and!

I don't appear to be able to exit the Wings dialogue; I have to re-enter via Ship --> Variant editing; the dialog comes up, but hitting ESC doesn't close it.


I’m pretty sure the hotkey’s enter and backspace. I’m also having the same problem with the wings tab, though it isn’t that big of a deal.


Something i’d like to have as a feature, is a hotkey to send you back to the middle of the ship. Scrolling too quickly usually sends me away from the ship, forcing me to save and reload the editor. Either that or an option to “anchor” the scrolling to the middle of the ship instead of going forwards/backwards.

Edit: Now i’m curious. What made you remove the old Asura in favor of the new one as opposed to just making the new one a different ship class?

Yup i'm pretty sure it should be. Now that's done, you can start starsector and check if your ship's there via console commands.


Edit: Whoops one more thing. The ship id's different from the one in ship_data. You're gonna have to fix that  :P
