Hi, the mod crashes on Linux during game launch cause of two case mismatches.
Code
java.lang.RuntimeException: Sound with filename [sounds/FDS/sfx_shields/shields_up.wav] not found or failed to load
It works if you rename the file extensions in mods/FDS/sounds/FDS/sfx_shields/to lower case (shields_up.WAV -> shields_up.wav and shields_down.WAV -> shields_down.wav).

Well, this is rather new... I guess I assumed that since Windows automatically reads those files there would be no worries, so Linux decided to jump in and ruin the fun heheh

Thank you for reporting this, I'll try to fix this as soon as I can!


Had the same problem here xD

SCY and MagicLib had the same issues....


On Linux "Thing", "thing" and "thinG" are completely different files, on Windows only one can exist on the same directory.

So....had to rename all the files on ./MagicLib/graphics/magic/fx


Game wasnt been able to locate the correct file

Fatal: Error loadind [graphics/Magic/fx/BASE_trail_aura.png]

but the files on the fx folder were all on lower case....So, I renamed all the files and the game started normaly...after I fixed FDS and SCY.... xD

base_trail_aura -> BASE_trail_aura


Not sure if its a problem with my file manager, decompression method, or if the files are misnamed

I`m running the Linux version

Did blow up one from a bounty thou, managed to salvage it luckly

ok...So, I was using JRE 8 instead of 7 which is the one Starsector uses xD

ok, so I was crashing cause of another mod...

Cant use this one with ApproLight for whatever reason...
I keep gettin OutOfMemory

So...I assume you need ShadersLib as well instead of GraphicsLib...correct?

Phase cruiser is hard as hell to catch ;-;

spent like half hour on a battle just chasing one around using Wolf frigates and phase destroyers :d
