start simple, try to draw one thing like "shark" comic style , again & again & again etc.

Open mods/GraphicsLib/GRAPHICS_OPTIONS.ini
Change "enableShaders":true to false

Now GraphicsLib won't draw anything, but the mods that use it will continue to function.
yup, this works , you can turn off all the extra FX & still be able to go with the mods :)

& check if you are putting the mods in to starsector 0.8.1a not in some earlier game version (if u had any)

Question: how to spawn ships ?
i mean i know the command i got the info that the hull is add & all but i dunno where is stored
in older version it was stored in omnifactory storage area if a remember it right, but now cant find it

Is it possible to have manual ships of your chose in your faction ?
like : you have ship you want to fly in player faction not some random ships
if player have own faction so he cen choose what ships will be in that faction
if you want capitals ships yom must first gain it then add it to the plan ships buildabe in that faction
& if its possible to choose size & numbers of ship in fleets per station
like 3 small fleet with 4 ships in it
there was attemps of thae in elier ver.
(sorry 4 my english ;P )

Piracy is good, if not the piracy everything would be more expencive
look at the consoles
same game different price  + we have to pay to play online
but i think in near future this will hit every player out there, even pc
so even if piracy is not ethical its good for the people/users
i mean if you like the product you will but it if its good
how many times you buy the game that didn't deserve it
but its just my opinion
PS: & yes, i did it with THIS game, but i bought it , cuz its good
 i they (producent) deserve it

Seriously Thank You, to everyone who mods this game, and thanks to Alex for developing it. I'm not trying to sound cheesy but you guys are what make this game fun for me.
thats the power of mods :D
every game that's modable is far more fun to play
with mod extends the game
so yeah :D MODS !! :D

I wonder, can anybody help me decipher what I did to make this starfield? It was made at night, when I was half asleep, so I have absolutely no idea how I did it. And when I try to do what I think I did, it comes out as crap.

Well you did something like this
on black & white layer you go to effect<Noise<addnoise
choose monochromatic<OK
then effect<blur<guassian blur<slide left/right
space & stars, DONE
then on black or white bacground
effect<clouds
on the cloud layer choose "layer mask"
on layer mask paint all Black so all clouds disappear
& with a bigger soft brush clic here & there
so cluds can appear here & there
& you just colour the clouds
thats what you did
or something like that ;)
