Come on, it was such an obvious /s . No need to call me antagonistic just because you didn't get the joke (while it clearly says at the bottom I often joke).Because OP is obviously playing with tons of mods...No. Vanilla. Also I feel like you're trying to be antagonistic for some reason. Could you stop?
Funniest part tho is saying that Plantissue was trash talking you and throwing ad hominems, you just need to mention the Dunning Kruger effect and you have the whole genius package. Dude was right, you're just giving feedback, we don't need an opening of your background like this is some big speech for an award. Literally no one cares you completed Minecraft on survival mode and got a victory royale 100 times, that doesn't make your feedback any more important that the rest of the community. I just get annoyed at these kind of people. inb4 ''you're being antagonistic''
Steam Greenlight is a great platform for indie games and its likely that Starsector will eventually use it (or other means to get on Steam). That time, however, has not yet come. Starsector still needs a bit to mature, I'm sure when it's ready the developers will make their move on steam. Here's what the lead developer said about the idea:QuoteQuote from: Alex on August 03, 2012, 01:50:50 PM
"Guys - I appreciate the thought, but I really don't feel like Starsector is ready for this kind of exposure. Please don't do anything on my behalf to make that happen - I think it could end up causing serious problems, both for the development of the game, the community, and, indeed, my mental health "
Have tried some things and advises, really helped a lot. But i've come across new question. Well, if i manage to refit ship with stuff that is not super efficient, but suits me well and i have some feel that i like to play that build, but still, it can be better with other things and guns. Like, you know, maybe it's wrong interpretation of what i'm trying to say. So, i mean, if i have like a capital or a cruiser that i'm sitting on, should i refit it for maximum efficiency, or just so that it will suit me and will be comfortable just for me?Maximum efficiency can also be your capital working together with a carrier and other ships for support. For example skip point defense or anti armor weapons and solemny rely on others ships for various purposes.
It seems learning in this game is praying to god you have the patience to invest 5 hours through trial and error.I've spent the last two weeks learning and sometimes quite basic things strikes me with epiphanies. If you have the patience I promise it will be well worth it.
press "d" then "Manage administrators" then "Dimiss" in the administrator you wantWhere is this "Manage administrators" button under command?
I do not want auto-save unless it is opt-in, especially in games that pause to save like this one. I generally do not like games saving unless I tell them to.This is easily fixed with a checkbox
I would like to be able to name my saves. Sometimes I save before an interesting battle, or reason, but I forget which save or why. This would be great. Sometimes I'm up doing shenanigans far out in the sector and want to save just in case I get jumped but still want the option to go back to my original save.
