Suggestions / Better hard flux bar indicator

Hi, that little bump in the flux bar that indicates hard flux level is barely if not at all visible. Maybe some color change in the little vertical line to make it show up better?

Suggestions / System-Wide faction related transmissions

When entering a faction or multi-faction controlled system it would be a nice immersion boost to start receiving system-wide "notifications", from independent radio station music to repeating luddic propaganda walls of text or whatever feels relevant to each faction's peculiarities. Would be an excellent way to give each vanilla system some extra personality. I understand it needs a lot of work and extra lore created but just think of the possibilities.

Hi im getting random crashes, here is the last part of the last log, anyone any ideas where is it from?
Game was ok for the few last weeks this happened after i updated some mods last few days. Cant remember all, nexerelin carrierhullmods and iron shell are those that i remember updating.

General Discussion / Vanilla map size

Is it just me or is a vanilla play-through way more enjoyable on a small size map?

Large normal map has a vast majority of just empty systems and travel times and logistics are just a slog.
Things feel different on a heavily modded campaign where there's so much stuff out there its actually more rewarding to play on large normal.

Any chance we can have a in-between medium size campaign option in the future?

Hi there, currently on my new 2k monitor i can barely see any fonts from 1m away and i cant imagine how illegible a 10 pixel "A" letter will be on a 4k one.
Is there any work being done on the UI for some kind of 2x or 4x scaling? (or any plan for 1.0) Even the skill icons need 2 tabs and use only 1/6 of the bottom screen row.
Yes i know i can use fullscreen at a lower resolution but its a PC and i use it for many things at the same time making it extremely counter productive and a real pain.

I also noticed that on the codex screen there is some kind of "retro scanline look" on the ship sprites that makes them look bigger and more retro,
Any chance enabling that filter for the whole game with a config option? That scanline thing looks amazing - its a pity to remain only on that codex screen.

Hi all, Played a lot of version 8, came back to check things out.
just a quick thought i had for commerce building:

Could it be used to check all compatible friendly markets through existing comm relays
and make it possible to browse and buy/sell ships/weapons/etc "online"?
(maybe access an online underground black market too if pirate playthrough)

Each faction/colony you buy from does the following:
Adds delivery costs relative to distance,your reputation and value of merchandise.
Gives choice for "secure" or "safe" delivery for a hefty cost (no secure delivery? pirates probably intercept expensive merchandise/ships)

For example ordering an expensive pristine battleship from tri-tachyon Hybrasil
may require an expensive escort costing even double the price for delivery.
Maybe through a building upgrade this could be made to be used for mid-to-late game
or completly late game for market browsing and chilling.

Also is there any chance for more filter options at the weapon refit UI being implemented, like PD,beam and faction?
It is painfull to browse through 895 weapons for beam only when many mods are installed.
