i find that one of the many reason why AI behavior so poorly vs phase ship is that, the AI drops even undamaged shield when phase ships is phased very close to it.

perhaps if AI can be coded to keep the shield unless they have to drop it when phased shield is close it would help them deal with phased shipped tremulously

champion has high armor, decent shield, decent flux dissipation, decent mobility,
AND very good special, both large missile and energy that has good placement, and two hybrid medium.

kinda feel like a Dominator with out Dominator draw backs

when you drop commission with a faction hostile relation reset to -25 instead of what ever you are at right? does that work for pirate relation and panther  relastions?

we use to have a skill that increase the chance to ship salvage after battle, is that included in the 20% post battle salvage now or is there no equivalent in the current version.

can anyone tell me how to set turning the ship to the mouse? it used to be on option on turning but now it is not there anymore

The Lp path smuggler while in the core system has a status of an independ smuggler thus will chase down and fight luddic path raiders, but once they enter their own system in the outter system they change their status back to luddic path.

Suggestions / Planetary shield gimmick effects

why don't we buff the planetary shield a little even though it is 100% unnecessary

suggest buff, any planet that has the planetary shield installed negates the hazard condition meteor, also after a year of installing on a planet with the irradiated condition the hazard rating of irradiated condition is reduce to 25% from 50 %

so the character skill section said that if we disable a ship it should have 25% chance to be salvages? and halved if it is destoryed.
BUT what about ship that already have d mod on them does that effect their salvage chances?

i ran in to a fleet under the Neutral faction that is runing around with hegmony special ships, after fighing them with transponder off my relation with a mysterious (Neutral) faction reduced by 3 from a (Neutral) of 0 lol

General Discussion / Trade and access question

how does trade work. said there are two planets both size 5 planet 1 one have 90 access and planet two have 35 access, planet one has refinary and industry, planet two has mining and farming.

Does this mean the one with the 90 access can still trade with the one with 35 access? just not the other way around.

Does this mean the one with 90% access can send trade fleet carrying said drugs and machine to planet 2 and load the mineral and food back? but planet can't do the same.

Also when there is multiple viable trading partners how do Ai determine where they send the trade fleets.

i guess the other question is that is all trade being done through the trade fleet that we see moving around the map or are some of them abstracted and we don't see them.

 what do you guys think getting that 5th industry slot on size 10 worlds, it would give us incentive to actually go for size 10 before we wait for new patch to come out again right ahahah
