Am using all faction mods for nexrelin and most general quality of life mods,(version checker, ect) as well as a couple misc mods such as autonomous ships or Steiner foundation.
When I launch the game with these three mods, which, as a homewolrd fan I very much want to use, I got this error on my starsector log, any ideas as to what I did wrong?
here it is:
117285 [Thread-4] ERROR com.fs.starfarer.combat.CombatMain  - java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0
java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0

As far as I can see the three mods I am trying to use, whose op is here: http://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=10555.0
are compatible with nexrelin, and 0.7.2a, but are seemingly incompatible with one of the faction mods listed compatible with nexrelin, or another mod that I am using.
And, while I have some coding experience with java (relatively minimal) it seems like some sort of number error, or such, where something is breaking the logic, I just dunno what that would be in starsector.

I've been having this issue off and on for a while, and it has gotten much worse since I got my 7.2a version of starsector modded. The game stutters while saving, with music resuming, freezing, resuming, freezing, and so on, until it either crashes or saves the game (it usually only lets me save once or twice after I create a new game)

Crash log for the latest crash below:

The 2+ ram allocation fix is something I already have installed, and I can confirm that it works, with the allocated 8 gigs of ram, as I had to install it for my modded game to launch.
Any ideas as to why this is happening? I use nexrelin and all compatible faction mods, but this has already occurred off and on in 6.2a and my non-nexrelin 7.2a, and I would rather like being able to play the game modded. ???

Bug Reports & Support / Confusing Bounty System
« on: January 28, 2016, 05:13:26 PM »
So i'm playing with some mods which i'll list here:

Here's the list:
1.Starsector Plus 3.1.2
2.Autosave 1.0d
3.Blackrock Driveyards 0.8.1
4.Citadel 0.8
5.Combat Chatter 1.1b
6.Common Radar 2.2
7.Console Commands 2.7
8.Interstellar Imperium 1.9.2
9.Junk Pirates / ASP/  Pack 2.40
10.Lazylib 2.1

21.Version Checker 1.6
22.ZZ Music Lib 3.1.0+
23.ZZ Shaderlib Beta 1.1.2

My confusion comes from the named bounty fleets. I see, in the intel screen, that there are bounties in various systems posted by various stations, if I go to the stations where those bounties are to be posted, I either see 1 bounty, for francis butler, and otherwise see none, and when I go to the places where the bounty fleets are said to be, to see if I can kill the named fleet and get the bounty that way, I found no fleet. I do know that the fleets spawn, as the one time I accepted Francis Butler's bounty, I found a fleet that easily wrecked mine. Anyone know if this is normal? Or if not how to fix it? And if it is normal, how do I collect these bounties?

EDIT: I just noticed that Francis Butler isn't even a listed bounty on the intel screen, its as if all bounties either didn't exist and those that did got replaced with Bulter....... Ideas?

Modding / Save Corruption and Starsector Plus
« on: January 27, 2016, 07:21:44 PM »
So I am running many, many mods, amounting to everything starsector plus recommends and the various utility mods like command  console or leading pip, except for shadow yards, which for some reason crashes my game as it starts.

Here's the list:
1.Starsector Plus 3.1.2
2.Autosave 1.0d
3.Blackrock Driveyards 0.8.1
4.Citadel 0.8
5.Combat Chatter 1.1b
6.Common Radar 2.2
7.Console Commands 2.7
8.Interstellar Imperium 1.9.2
9.Junk Pirates / ASP/  Pack 2.40
10.Lazylib 2.1
11.Leading Pip 1.7.4
12.Omnifactory 1.1b
13. Save Transfer 1.7.0
14.Scy Nation 0.98d
15. Simulator Overhaul 1.2
16. Steiner Foundation 1.0.1
17.The Knights Templar 0.9.5d
18.The Mayorate 0.9.1
19.Tiadong Heavy Industries 1.0.6
20.TwigLib 0.6.8a
21.Version Checker 1.6
22.ZZ Music Lib 3.1.0+
23.ZZ Shaderlib Beta 1.1.2

The Issue: Simply put, I have noticed 2 Main Issues:

1.Problems Saving: When I try to save a game in progress, the game will bug out, freezing and intermittently losing sound, until these intervals between sound become longer and longer, until I get a GC Overhead Limit Exceeded Error, which closes the game. This Error generally occurs 2-3 saves into a campaign, according to the testing I have done.

2. Game Loading Corruption: After the said save issue, when I reload the game to try and reload the save, I get a message stating that the save is incompatible and might be from an older version.

Logs: I believe that these logs show the GC error:

EDIT: The Logs are not able to be posted onto this post for reason unkown, but links to the files in dropbox are below

Link to log 2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ymgiyumd4nxkfz9/starsector.log.1?dl=0

EDIT: I have increased RAM allocation to 8gb as well
