There's no starsector.log entry because of how the crash went down. I'm guessing it's either some sort of memory issue, possibly VRAM since it happens no matter how much system memory I give it, or a driver issue. It's somewhat random though and only when I go to save after a long session with other quicksaves throughout.

General Discussion / Are prices affected by the amount of mods?

I have quite a few races installed right now along with SS+ (roughly 16 off the top of my head) and I noticed that fuel, supplies and ships are not only scarce, they're hideously expensive. I've been trying to figure out what caused this, and the only two conclusions I came up with are either my character level or the races. Which is it, exactly?

Bug Reports & Support / Odd launcher problem.

When I click on mods or the resolution options, the menu appears to tear and superimpose onto the upper left of the launcher. I'm not too sure what could cause this, unless 0.6a left behind something after I uninstalled it to cleanly install 0.6.1a. :s
