Modding / Editing XIV BG ship OP

Could you tell me how to edit OP on XIV BG ships? Because editing OP on normal hulls doesn't have any effect on them so when I change the standard Onslaught OP to 350, the XIV BG one keeps its 370. Thanks.

Suggestions / Navigation perk

The navigation skills seems rather less useful than other skills mainly because it only does one thing i think some perks would make it more viable...
i can think of something that would be extremely useful: decrease the radius of gravity wells or allow player to keep some of the speed bonus even when near gravity well....this could speed up traveling quite a bit and enable to gain big advantage against other fleets
is that possible alex?

Hello,
i think the B MK II AI could use a little adjustment as the ship is supposed to be a long range support but right now the enemy makes it a suicidal meatshield ( for about 20seconds or even less before it dies from something ) simply because it just rushes against the enemy at flank speed without considering what type of ship it is....its missiles are much more dangerous when it can fire them and that requires it to be alive.....
i know its supposed to be a kind of easy money in the early game but its not like it can outrun most frigates so those will still kill it

Hello,
just had my Hyperion teleport away from the enemy and right into path of gauss shell....he took quite some damage too
its probably caused by gauss cannons shell delay after pushing the fire button.....
would it be possible to treat the gauss cannon the same way game treats beams? i.e. the ship would regard gauss as firing all the way till the shell actually flies?

i think it would be useful to have subsection for all that ship loadouts under the General Discussion because they flood the GD and after a while they will disappear which with so many people not bothering to search wont do any good either

what title says as you can see from the screen shots when i give my Hyperion full escort assignment the *bleep* will try to and actually teleport INSIDE the battleship or even better between one of the gaps between the battleships(burndriving if possible) frontal prongs causing it to die in a horrible albeit funny way

Bug Reports & Support / [0.53.1a] Weapon groups reset on certain ships

Ive found a strange bug that only happens on few ships BUT in every game and in mods as well...
so far ive found this on Wolf and Hyperion while its OK on Onslaught, Lasher and Hound
if i setup custom weapon groups that arent the same as auto setting the game will automatically reset the weapons to default for some reason
it actually removed one tac laser from my Hyperion and mounted AM Blaster instead for no reason.....

its almost as if the game is trying to use one of the preset weapon packages on its own

Modding / Mission List/Mission contest

As some people already stated we could use some more missions.....and while id say there are people who have created lots of missions many of them never uploaded them...
id like to create a list similar to that we have for mods but mainly for single missions or small mission packs that would add some more fun to the already very re-playable game...
if you dont know where to upload your missions a site called Dropbox is quite useful tool for this because you just put the file with mission into a folder and then share the link which allows anyone to download it and updating is as simple as putting in new version of the file in question

people who play the missions would then post 1-10 score here and once 3 or more people vote for mission in question id do an average(updated as votes pile up) so people know the rough quality of that mission

and if Alex and creators of missions that get exceptional scores agree they could be eventually integrated into the game or maybe even into the campaign itself if they are truly innovative....

what do you think? id be happy to include any ideas or suggestions others may have
