if you want colonization u might want to try stardrive thats a new space game to and they have already added space bears and space rats so space hamsters look posible XD

i like the idea but i feel like it should also tie into the ships in ur fleet somehow like ur ships cant traktor beam something larger than itself or you can put multiple ships to tractor beam a larger ship or possibly a seperate addon or ship class that specialises in it that would alow for the for the tractor beam ability to be more powerfull if u take the risk and weaken ur fleet by investing in it

i like it but i dont know if 5-10 seconds is really enough i think it should be more like 5-60 secs depending on the size of the battle and let you see som vague intel on how the battle is going when you mouse over it the info you get can even be determined by your skills
