I'd love a standalone Yamato Start that doesn't add new factions, since they can be kinda... unbalanced.

Is it possible to change the legality of things in invaded markets?
For example, change Recreational Drugs to legal/illegal?

Also wondering about changing player faction alignment.

you need to build a commerce first (takes 1 industry slot), then you'll be able to trade in your colonies.

Or if you just need supplies and fuel, you can build a Waystation. Doesn't let you sell stuff, and only allows you to buy supplies/fuel and whatever the colony produces, but doesn't cost an industry slot and improves accessibility, as well as being cheaper. Also the supplies will be cheaper, as it always sells at base price, eg. 100 per supply, 30 per fuel.

Is there a way to buy or sell stuff in player-controlled colonies? I need some supplies but can't get any since I can't buy them from my own colony.

Yeah, I know. It doesn't have one. The more recent version does, but the old one doesn't. the Mod_info.json file lists it as 1.0, but I don't think it gets changed between versions.

It doesn't seem to have a changelog, but I think it was 1.1.11.

That's the last few, above that it's pretty much just loading standard Starsector stuff. I didn't change the Options file as far as I can remember.

I've recently updated the Starship Legends version my game uses, but now I get a 'Please notify the author' message that just has 'null' instead of any useful information. After the first ~5-10 seconds of gameplay, it becomes a constant popup, to the point where the game is literally unplayable because as soon as I close the notice it pops up again.

The older version of Starship Legends, which worked fine a few days ago, did not do this. What can I do to help figure out what's going wrong?

Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of coding at all. Is there any way to add in a ship, and have that ship be unique, so there's only one of it you can ever get?

Like the title says, is there any way to make a one-time faction quest that becomes available after one reaches a certain reputation with a faction?

Ideally there would also be a way to make the quest to be to retrieve a specific abandoned ship, and either keeping it for yourself (and angering the faction that gave you the quest) or give it to the faction.

If this is a stupid question, I apologize, as I haven't really done any modding before.


Edit: Or even a one-time exploration quest/interaction would be good.
