I am curious though, did you do the sprite work yourself or was it assisted AI generation? I definitely prefer this art style to vanilla.
These were all images I found online. As it was quite a while ago, I doubt they were AI generated, but I don't have a way to confirm that.

I tried to find the answer to this - I'm a relative newbie so apologies in advance.

Is there a way to see the ships in my fleet and things like the effects and loyalty - easily? I tried looking around after I noticed a post battle readout in intel showed me something like that, but I couldn't find it again.

May not even be related to this mod.

I just want to see which ships are at which loyalty and what's going on. having some issues with a couple of ships losing CR very quickly that is likely related.

Every ship should have a unique built-in hullmod that shows their loyalty levels and other special effects that come with it.

Hi, sorry to post on an old post, love the portraits, but i can't seem to make the mod work with the new version
I haven't officially updated this for the latest game version yet, but it's simple enough to fix yourself. Just open up "mod_info.json" in the main mod folder and change the game version to 0.96a.

I don't know if this is just a simulator thing, but whenever I'm testing out ships with Gravitic Anchors, it seems like the AI will toggle them endlessly instead of leaving them on.

Im not sure if this is normal or if its a bug.
At the start of the game the Legio has a lot of their LI variant ships on their fleet, from castigators to broncos, etc but once they start spawning the daemons their fleet compositions change and they spawn a lot of normal pirate ships instad of their own along with the daemons.
Their fleets are composed by mules (both variants), Ventures (both variants), bentos, and other pirate ships with some daemons in the mix with very few LI ships. Is this intended, or is it a bug on my end?
I've noticed this as well in one of my older playthroughs, many massive fleets that are usually at least 60% Ventures and Mules.

i may be very dumb but how do you access settings for this mod, not showing up in lunalib or anywhere else i thought to look
Sounds like you want progsmod_settings.json, in the mod's main folder where the mod_info.json and .version file are.

A small issue, but I'd like to see the Nexerelin start options get a bit of touch-up. Specifically, the second frigate start option with the Garegga and the Trihander. You don't start with enough crew to fully man all your ships (only 12/20), both frigates have unused OP, and the Trihander starts with the Assault variant, which has a hullmod conflict due to Safety Overrides being incompatible with SILVERSWORD.

I made a chatter character based on the pawns from Dragon's Dogma a while back. With the recent sequel news, I thought I might as well share it with everybody else. Hope somebody likes it.

Open up mod_info.json and change "gameVersion" to the current version (in this case, 0.95a). That should be enough to make it work.

You could pick up missions from NPC fleets by talking to them in EV Nova.  I was just thinking about having something like that in Starsector.

Currently, looking up system bounties in the info screen will show you the last payment you received. I think it'd be neat if it also showed other info such as total payout over the history of the bounty and a list of ships that you destroyed.

I am having a problem with edicts on size 6 planet because they end instantly after enacting. Any clue what might cause that?
Bumping this question. I've looked around and found other people with the same issue, but none of them seem to have gotten a response.

Is there a way to access older versions of this mod? I really like the portraits, but i havent tried to use 1.4 on .91 since i assume it wont work.
I don't keep older versions lying around, unfortunately. Nothing about how the game handles portraits was changed between 0.91 and 0.95, so I don't see why the latest version wouldn't work for previous patches.
