Sorry if I missed this question but, I use a 200% scaled UI and the clock doesn't scale with it. Is there a way to adjust it's position and font size?

Do I need to start a new game to see these changes?

I haven't really played any of the updates that happened last year/this year and so I have been enjoying the changes recently.

One thing that I want to give feedback on is the missions that I have been getting from one of my contacts. He specifically gives me missions to setup a spy satellite and another to do a jail break.

As I like to accept multiple missions at once to maximize my time out in the verse, I usually take my entire fleet (currently a mix of destroyers and frigates). This makes sneaking up to place the spy satellite a bit obnoxious. Since there's almost always a patrol fleet nearby, what I end up doing is docking at the nearby planet/station, storing my entire fleet except one frigate, undocking, going dark, placing the satellite, turning my transponder back on, docking, retrieving my fleet, and then carrying on. This is a bit of an absurd gameplay loop and I doubt it's the intended way. Maybe it's possible to send one ship out to complete the mission while my fleet waits in a nearby asteroid field? I don't know if that's possible.

It would be nice if the spy satellites were located a bit further away, or if there was some logic in place that required the area to have zero defenders patrolling for a short time so that the player could sneak in. I'm sure there's a better solution, I just don't know a better way.

A similar thing can happen with the jailbreak mission. If there is a patrolling fleet, it can make sneaking in to raid near impossible, especially once you need a fleet that can carry 300+ marines to accomplish it.

I don't want to make either mission too easy because I really like the stealth aspect, but I feel there could be some tweaks to them to ensure that they are less finicky.

Will this mod no longer be updated? 95.1a-RC5 crashes when loading a new game while this mod is running.

AFAIK currently only mod weapons are non-Common. The fancy secret weapons coming in the next version will presumably have their own design type.

Thanks. I was thinking that might be the case with modded weapons showing up as something else, but I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing some super secret blueprint.

In the Command -> Custom Production -> Weapons tab, all of the weapon's design type listed in my game are categorized as "Common". Are there weapons that are not designated as common?

If the same thing happens again but is overwritten, one thing you could try doing is checking the backup save file. Its in the same folder as the regular save, just with an extra '.bak' file extension. If it is from before and the situation reproduces that would give a better idea of whats going on. It might be too late now though, and the bug does seem rare!

Yeah, I have never encountered this bug since I bought this game years ago and countless playthroughs. I doubt I will see it again!

Did you return to the core? Iirc, you won't get the payout until you do.
I did not know this! However, I just did the same mission for Tri-Tachyon and was paid immediately. A bit confusing. Will head to the core now.

Edit: After returning to the core, I still did not receive payment. Goodbye 200k!

Not sure if I did something wrong, but the Luddic Church put out a bounty for a Pirate base (had 88 days remaining when I undertook it).
I arrive, the base has the (!) symbol, I turned off my transponder, traded some goods, and then destroyed the base. I did not receive the payout for completing the mission, even though the bounty  updated showing that I destroyed the base.

Pretty bummed.

Works for me but as mentioned, you must play in 1920x1080.

Also, since it's not actually running the game in 4k, it does have a bit of a blurriness feel to it. A true 4k (or even 1440p) solution would be preferred but I get that it just won't ever happen.

However, running this in 4k @ 120 hz is nice :-)
