I also would like to see "circle galaxy" instead of a rectangle one.

Funny how I have the Foundation of Borken installed as well thinking I'd use their linked storage system, but I've never used it all myself honestly because I quite prefer flying myself back to my main colony to pick up my stored ships and refit/overhaul my ships. Call me a glutton for punishment or that it just gives me a sense of "realism"  :P but I much prefer doing it that way.
I prefer vanilla rn.

Going back for every refit is a bit too much for me. One can even justify linking storages for weapons with some expensive teleporting for goods with set parameters. I get it for commodities, supplies and all that, but right now I feel like it's just disrespecting player's time.

The console command mod has a storage command that you can open anywhere.
The Foundation of Borken has build-able but capacity limited transfer systems but I've never really used it

Revisited the game after 7 years, lots of new content. Storage system is a bit unhandy to me tho.

I like how it was done in Sunless Skies (SS too, yeah) with their bank system and linked storages there. I want something similar for weapons and ships in Starsector to conveniently refit ships in my fleet, but I guess not for commodities to not brake the economy.

Anybody knows how to achieve it in current build? Edit some text in files? Maybe there's a mod for that?

I thought mission goals have much more "weight" in calculation than ship losses especially considering the balance of fleets power. But it's only alpha, maybe formulas will be improved.

Did it in 0.52, all goals reached but rating is only 55%. Still have no idea how it calculates, but personally i think it's a good result - most ships are alive and the enemy is defeated.

UPD:"Full damage" is on.

Is "alex" alex's full name?

I really hate people like you.  Mainly because I receive mail that says "To Alexander De--------" (not going to give out my full name) when my name is Alex!  I put it as Alex everywhere because that is what it says on my birth certificate.  Just because you think that it is short for something does not mean it is so don't ass-u-me.

Long story short if you know his real name refer to it like the others here did, but don't link to a worthless name that helps spread the ignorant thought that all people named Alex are actually named Alexander.

Thanks. It's not an issue, i always keep my flagship at full health. I will try this mission in 0.52a within this week or month maybe.

From Starfarer main menu press Settings -> top-right tab Settings -> Damage taken by your ships. If set to half you got only 50% score for missions.
Finally got it, what a trap. Does it means with this option turned to "Full" i would have received 84% rating?

My flagship hull HP is about 95%. Does armor counts too?

Also, sounds like your score might be penalised by the 50% damage modifier?
What is 50% damage modifier? How it works?

I've played v0.51a few hours ago, and tried this "Dire stars" impossible mission.
After several attempts to deal with it i succeed with only hound and three talon wings in losses. But rating was only 42%. That surprises me. It's because i must escape?

P.S. Offtop: Is "Alex" stands for "Alexander" or "Alexey"?

The simulator is in the next patch, out in 2-7 days.
It's pretty cool.
