Last patch this is how I got all my paragons. Mega quick cap and then kill the two ships they managed to deploy. Glad they fixed

Too often in my strategies I am engaged with a ship of the line on one side of the map and all the freighters I'm attacking run down the opposite side and escape or I become flanked.

I suggest a ship that can deploy a minefield of sorts as an area denial weapon.

Or maybe not even mines, maybe a science type vessel that's support role deploys some form of sensor buoy.

Not a big fan of the faction idea.

A ship would be neat.

But how about a ship addon for your ships "advanced medical bay" which increases survive-ability of the crew in battle. Or actually being able to purchase medical personnel along the same lines that you do marines except that they increased crew survive-ability.

Missiles are devastating if used correctly. And they're made easy to shoot down at the expense of offensive capabilities of the defending ship. I think missiles are pretty good as they are. Maybe some more variation in types but buffing.. I don't know about that.

Rally your carriers behind nebulae. The slowing on your fighters is negligible but the slowing effect on big ships who might slip by might mean the difference between losing your carriers and keeping them, by buying your ships enough time to escape.

I assume there will eventually be some form of atmospheric mining operations. I mean we see enemy ships disappear into gas planets, so it's not too far a stretch I don't think. But ground combat ruined Star Trek online no reason to think it wouldn't ruin this game too.

Maybe a crew experience based trend for the PD weapons. A more experienced crew knows that missiles take priority whereas a greener crew will be more prone to "OH LOOK BIG SHIP SHOOT IT"

The whole pausing and identifying strategies system would break in a multiplayer system.

And you think chasing a slightly smaller pirate fleet around the galaxy is annoying wait until you've been chased all over by a giant troll fleet. MP, while a noble idea for this game, just wouldn't work.

I'm currently trolling with

4x Wolfs
    They all run the standard Graviton beam and Green beams (can't remember name)
    Two of them run the Salamander MRM while the other two run Harpoon MRM. I like the salamanders messing up their engines
2x Condors with standard equipment
4x Broadside fighters


Group all the wolves together and all the broadsides together and storm around the battlefield downing ship after ship. Quite nice.

I love it. I can't tell you how many times I've started buying weapons (especially early on in the game when your cash is short and you've just inherited a ship with no weapons) and I can't remember what I need and of what type. I would love to see something like this.
