I made a thing.

It's still not PERFECT, but it is sufficient to the point I thought I'd share.

Oh, it's beautiful, good job :)  Unfortunately too noisy for me as a background, can't see my icons anymore.

As much as I snarked at you, I totally understand, Gothars. I have been using linux for a while now, though, so icons are no longer a thing for me.  :p  Which means I can play with this until it works for me.

Uploaded a new version at the same link. Fixed some of the "kerning" issues between ships.

I also made the fighters more bunched in the center top. You can actually see them all now!  :)

Also I used some alt skins for more flavor. Kite(o) FTW!

I use windows and I also don't use icons on my desktop! (Use it to view pretty backgrounds)

I use a program called Fences which is made by Stardock. One of its features is hiding your icons. Very nice for the nearly 7000 images I have in rotation for my background.

I thought you would've used the new XIV versions of the ships. Like the Eagle. Or the Falcon.

He made the wallpaper before the 0.7a patch released, so yea.
