Disclaimer: I completely stole the basic idea from Foxer360 (sorry)...

This mod add four practice targets to your simulation opponents. Three passive punching bags, and one equipped with harpoon drones to test your PD.

They are mostly intended for modders to test their new weapons and ships against passive targets. Unlike the ones in Foxer's Citadel (http://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=6442.0) mod, they spawn instantly in the middle of the map, right in front of your ship. They also are a usable metric to judge a weapon effectiveness since their stats are equivalent to an Onslaught, a Conquest and a Paragon.

When I said stats equivalent to the Onslaught, Conquest and Paragon that include their shields (well, in the case of the onslaught I removed it)

Can you add a weapon testing ship for this mod, which has 1 armor and 1 hull 0 max burn that come up with 3 universal turret slot of 3 sizes and unlimited (999?) OP?

Small Update that adds a fourth target that launches Harpoon equipped drones to test your PD. They also are no longer completely fixed in position and can be bumped around. This update shouldn't break any save.

Can we get a similar-to-onslaught grade of PD guarded target?
Would like to make a more objective comparison between fighter / bomber performances.

I'll consider it. I'd like to avoid bloating the simulator with too many of these targets, but that's a compelling use case. I could remove the Conquest-grade test target too, since I don't think it sees much use compared to the Onslaught/Paragon ones.

I know that you don't want this to have too many targets, but maybe a shield only target? like, 1 hp, no armor and some efficient shields?

Would greatly appreciate a target with a shield efficiency of 1.0. Would help reduce the guesswork to how much damage weapons do especially for fighters. I could change it on my end, but I think others would find such a target handy.

I was just thinking about this yesterday lol

The things that would be good to have are:
- a shield version where you can test kinetics and other stuff
- small and high armor version without shield or something to test armor pen with fast shooting weapons vs slow hard hitting ones
- hull version with lots of hitpoints cause fragmentation op
- and maybe a version with inactive weapons/engines to test emp

I for one sometimes get hit by a single ion laser and half of my ship get knocked out and i get sent spinning for 15 sec.. And when i do it, not even 4k emp weapons can do it lol.

Would love it if these target practices were named in a way so that it'll always appear at the very top of the ship selection, rather than having to scroll all the way down to find them in the menu.
