Pheew okay, I cleaned up the page. Most of those unsightly '//'s are gone so the page hopefully wont have you pulling your hair out... still more cutting to do though i fear. I should have most, if not all, of the information from ye olde page onto here within the next couple days and also should have some more perty pictures added to the page to break up those endless lines of text omg so many...

Anyway, mods coming along nicely, despite me starting uni, and I've got a couple of ships almost done and will be added to the page ASAP. Do people want a download? i was going to wait until campaign integration, but if you lot want i have some semi balanced ships in a semi balanced test mission ready to go mission ready :P.

Okay, the lore is in. Although it isn't currently 100% up to date with the current direction of the project, i feel that it gives a good enough approximation to what the final version will be more like. Don't bother reading it if you have before, its just a copy-paste, but i'll probably make some changes in the future. :)

Well ive now added two new ships:

the Morre Class, a light missile frigate, and the Rym Class, a heavy support frigate.

I've also added all of the currently planned ships to the Craft Currently in Production, and holy cheeseballs there's a lot of them.

Currently im planning on getting a few destroyers in the game before I start to get things working in the campaign. Maybe I'll make a few missions just to let you guys and gals tell me how terribly i balanced things :D

mmm is that really so much better? i already cleaned up loads of unnecessary symbols that really just make things more difficult to read. I dont know though, what do other people think? if someone else says its better then ill change it, but right now i think im sitting on the fence. Thanks for the suggestion though, if i get the time (or just stop being so lazy) ill try it out and see how it looks. :)

Wow. Okay. It only took 3 months or something, but the page has been updated to the current state of affairs. Basically, I'm currently in the process of redoing all my sprites (almost done), before continuing work on new stuff. I've run outta time this evening to post everything I've done though, but that will all be up tomorrow I promise! New ships and stuff.

I'll put a mission up for download soon-ish (basically when I've finished redoing my sprites) so that you can have a play with what I've done so far. :D

Yeah I'm still here chugging away in the background xD

Two all new twin ships; the Tyazhelyy-Class and the Tyazhesti-Class, plus a bunch of sprite updates. Just a bit more work to do before ill have a mission download ready to go.

I really like the weird shape of those new ones. The big problem is that it's going to be very confusing to manage those. Nearly identical look and names... Also be wary of the missile variant as an over-abundance of missile mounts can break the balance surprisingly easily. The Junk Pirate Hammer is the perfect example.

Also, as for balancing, I was thinking that limiting the OP a whole bunch would do the trick; most of the Naysmyth missiles are going to be low cost and spammy, but build flux. And the Tyazhesti is a LIGHT missile frigate, not heavy, thats a typo.

Even if the pre-defined variants only use your mod's missiles, it's still good to be mindful of the missiles in vanilla when balancing the ship.

Yup! One of the forward hardpoints is already planned to be a ballistic slot, but if need be I can always change another. Its probably gonna need some testing beforehand though; I really feel that limiting the OP should do a decent job as is.

Is that a *GASP!* download i see?? Yes Dave; yes it is. You're also talking to yourself again...

*Cough cough* erm... right. Yes well, the download is up and ready to.. er... download. Comes with just a single silly mission where you can test out my finished ships.

My weapon sprites are very much WIP (as are the descriptions), so dont be too harsh. I touched them up a tad for this update but they are nowhere near done.

Currently doesn't require anything other than the base game, although that's subject to change. Have fun! :)

What's new? What's cool? I can't say this is both, but here's what's changed:
> Sprites are all redone! Still only 5 of them so far, but 4 more in the works. Yes, I'm churning these out at an impressive sprite per 4ish months.

You think so? I was exploring a new idea/style, but i thought it came out a too high tech for what i was looking for in this mod. I've restarted my sprites from scratch so many times... I'd like to put a tick next to it, even it's crude and uninteresting.
