Title: Music question/request
Post by: conorano on August 15, 2014, 03:58:40 PM
I stumbled upon a rather relaxing soundtrack for a mod of the binding of isaac (called remix mod) and it made me really in the mood for more music of that kind, only problem is that i have no idea what kind of genre it is or how to easily find more of it. So my question to you guys is: do any of you know more music that has a similar tune like this? I mostly mean the soft beats and overal relaxing pace. Here is the link to the song.

It seems that all the people in the forums here have a broad taste of music so i hope someone would know of something.  ;D

Hmm, sounds like a House subgenre like Deep or Progressive House. Though it sounded abit calmer..

Something like this maybe? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2o7zSPr-Rc

If you are into relaxing electro, I can suggest http://bassandspace.com/ (http://bassandspace.com/) that has ton of (free) music if you are willing to search a bit.
There is also http://www.sublimeporte.net/ (http://www.sublimeporte.net/) though there is only a few albums, and http://www.monocromatica.com/netlabel/index.htm (http://www.monocromatica.com/netlabel/index.htm) in the more... err... "experimental" stuff (but with some good EP in the middle).

And if you want the ultimate relaxing tracks ever, go check him: http://www.mon0.de/ (http://www.mon0.de/). Better than any drug to drift away.

PS. There is a couple of ambient stations on the webradio http://somafm.com/ (http://somafm.com/)
