Title: A way to end battle when enemy is retreating
Post by: firstattak1 on February 06, 2013, 05:31:13 PM
So when most of the ships are destroyed and all thats left is the fighters that are retreating I esc and use the resolve the battle and the fighters are destroyied even though they were far away from any of my ships, so could there be a way to end the battle if the enemy is retreating? And on that note (just thought this up) could there be a way to tell whem the enemy is retreating?

Would this work in a similar way to the Total War series? If so, then I agree.

I'm not sure I follow you. You can press the escape key at any time to auto-resolve a battle.

The problem with this is often the enemy ships that are retreating are destroied even though none of my ships can get to them before they leave, and so its cheap to just end the battle when they are far away and get the exp and money for killing them where there was no way you could have done it.

Ah, that's the problem. I think this might well be fixed in the next release.
