Title: some backgrounds

hi,guys,I just photoshoped some pics to sf's background,some of them are real nebulae in the universe.
I'll say ... they looking good in the game,so I just want to share with you guys~
always download in FULLSIZE!
if anyone want to make these pics into a mod or something,take it,you're welcome ;)

Seems like most of these would, indeed, make good backgrounds. I'm especially fond of the first one.

Nice work. Did you use existing photographs of nebulae and edit them in photoshop?

I especially like the third one. Not too overwhelming with plenty of dark space. The second one is a bit blurry though.

Hehe, looking nice. You know, project Caelus is looking for background artists. All you have to do, is keep making what you're good at :)

well,I did some search,the first one is an infrared photograph of "The Milky Way", you love it for a reason,because it is our galaxy! ah ;D

yes,I really don't do much work,they're beautiful themselves.
The third one is my favorite untill now!It is the Flame Nebula,aka NGC2024,if you noticed the file name.It's part of the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex,which includes the famous Horsehead Nebula,that I'll present to you guys today,my favorite background,it looks really really beautiful,gorgeous,fantastic...whatever,I don't konw what's the best words to describe it.

well,actually I did blur the 2nd one,I want it looks like far away,and green color for more alien,maybe I screwed up :-\

I  like the blue version very much, it has a colder feel to it ;D
