Description:

This mod is an attempt to expand upon the current game without changing the basic dynamics. There are 37 new ships, a few new weapons, new starting ships, and no new factions. It is still a beta and I will continue balancing ships as issues arise.

Please; do not be afraid to give suggestions this is supposed to be a vanilla friendly mod!

Installation

Extract plus folder from the zip into the mods folder (-/Fractal Softworks/Starfarer/mods/). Start the game, click "Mods" at the bottom of the launcher pop-up, and enable Starfarer Plus. Play the game!

Change Log

V 1.021
Balenced ships pricing and stats also changed starter ships.

V 1.02
Added 3 new ships and fixed the corvettes.

V 1.01
-Added 6 new ships.
-Balanced some old ships. It should be more vanilla friendly now.

FAQ

Is this mod compatible with Omega's Minimash?
-No Omega's Minimash already contains these ships or soon will.

Is this mod compatible with other mods?
-Yes; most. If incompatibility is found I will attempt to fix.

Will you be adding new ships?
-Yes as new sprites are made that fit the game style

Will you adding more weapons?
-Yes there are plenty of holes to fill.

clearly something, omega, If I touch up some of my sprites and get someone to code for me could they be included?

I can code pretty much anything in this game. So yes if your sprites are good enough quality and fit the style I will add them

Oh neat. Just DL'd...still got that projectile turned to the left. Found out that don't work.

Ah, I love everything about this mod!  The sprites are nice, and the ships balanced.  I love the Spearhead Mk. II....a tough little hull with a lot of weapons. ;D

the Spearhead Mk. II is only in Omega's minimash (OM)... and thats because both OM and new weapons use the spear head? so are you talking about OM or this mod?

Well, just the Spearhead then.  Sorry, I just found the mod in his minimash and I found your ships interesting.  I made one out of vanilla weapons and it still performed excellently.

well looking at the game a carrier slot is worth a few weapon slots.      cruiser carrier has high end destroyer weaponry, capital carrier has high end cruiser weaponry. destroyer carrier has high end frigate weaponry

well that's how I desighn them usually when I make them, the parrot was one of my earlier works.

Well carriers are just lower in value for fleet points and higher in value for credits thats all.

I've started a new campaign with both this mod and the relic mod and it only happened for yours.

Really enjoy your mod especialy the coelus and the melampus, long range beam weapons are so op  :D

Can we get a version that's compatible with weapon pack? It's got a few of the same ships which throws an error.

Yeah, instead of extending, craftomega in his scripts completely override vanilla Corvus system...

I've got no experience modding this (or any other) game. Is there any way to undo the changes the mod makes to the storage facility? I've encountered no other problem except this one.

Sure, you just need to add this two lines

neutralStation.getCargo().setFreeTransfer(true);
to the
mods\Starfarer Plus 1.021\data\scripts\world\corvus\Corvus.java (open with notepad)
as lines 27 and 28 (to be sure: not replace anything)

Or just download, unzip and replace whole Corvus.java

Is this the same thing I would get from making those alterations you mentioned myself or does it change other things?

I second this, as with its removal this mod is causing another one of my mods to cause a fatal null crash...

How would I go about making Starfarer + not remove the abandoned station?

EDIT: Nvm, I read the 3 pages and saw other people had already fixed it :)

Fingers crossed for ship systems. I love this mod because it spices up the hedgemony and Tri-tachyon fleets without unbalancing them.
