I have no idea! I'll be a recruit in seven days, not a Marine! In other words, I ship to training on the 23rd. I've just been doing mild training with other potential recruits here at home since I signed my papers-- that's been pretty fun, but boot camp is supposed to be brutal. A lot of psychological stress.

Good luck. That's legit. I don't think I could be a marine. Maybe in the Air Force.  :)  Wife won't let me, though, haha.

Why would you even want to? Other then a chance to drive a tank, but marines don't even get to do that.

Marines can drive tanks, we've got M1s. Anyway, I joined because the Marines are hard, the furthest thing from civilian life short of special forces. And at this juncture of my life, that's what I need.

Try to sneak in a portable PC with SF and a small modem so you can keep in touch xD.

I'm not upset. For all you know, I could indeed be a flamboyant homosexual-- it's legal now-- but I'm not insecure enough to feel forced to confirm or deny that! :P

There's a strong undercurrent of homoeroticism in the Corps anyway-- go to any bathroom on any Marine base anywhere, and there will just be dicks drawn on the stalls all over the place, sometimes in disturbingly detailed artistry. There's public showers, in some units it's still cool to slap each other on the ass-- honestly, back when DADT was still around and the Marines were the most resistant to abolishing it, I kind of laughed.

propane tanks are easy targets to shoot at to.. but they are not all that great to shoot... if you catch my drift. IE. they have a tendancy to explode.

In case you missed it, that was a picture of "nothing" becasue that is what is out there.  Lots of Nothing.
