When I try to launch the game at anything other than my monitors native 4k it will not go fullscreen. Instead it will take up a portion of the top left of my screen. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be awesome.

Hi - sorry about the trouble!
First, I have to ask just to be sure, you're checking "fullscreen" in the launcher, right? Assuming you are: what operating system are you running?
Also, are your graphics drivers up-to-date? Might be worth updating them to see if it helps.

Thanks for the quick reply, but yes I do have the fullscreen option checked and it does go fullscreen if i run it at the native resolution but the UI is a little small to play comfortably at that resolution. I am using windows 10 and I have a GTX 1080 with the most recent drivers, version 398.36 released on june 26th.

Hmm. Some googling reveals a possible solution:
Right click on the executable, click properties, go to the compatibility tab, and set the option to override DPI scaling behavior to "application".
Can you let me know if that helps? If it doesn't, other options in that section may be worth a shot as well. I'm not on windows 10 so I'm not sure exactly what they'd be.

That fixed it. You're awesome, thanks for helping me out!
-
Nice, glad that did it. Hope you enjoy the game!

Just checking in to mention that this fix also worked for me on Windows 10. Thanks for all that y'all do!
-
Nice! Thank you for confirming, always good to know that something like that still works.

As reported in another thread
If you change the desktop resolution to lower than 4k and starts the game the 4K resolution will be available in the menu and the game starts in 4K fullscreen.

thank you, this helped me out too, heres hoping for eventual ui scaling for us blind folks
-
Glad that did it! There will be UI scaling in the next release, btw :)

Thank you very much!!!
This helped me too, and now I know more ways to fix problems even for other applications.
My gratitude.
