Testing an automatic updating map with cloud mask base on Tartiflette's Goggle Docs chart. They *should* update themshelves to mach up the chart.
EDIT: Nya, seems like this thing cann't update itself auto...

Okay, prepared the map to handle the new factions and location. I remove the whole hyper terrain since it is mostly procgen and has to be removed by hand anyway. All the previous factions have been removed since their locations weren't updated, so pick you new place quick!
Also note that the "size" of the systems is now dependent on the effective market power and not just the sum of their size.

Updated the crystanite to a new position (13000, 3000). I don't quite get what you mean by "effective market power" however...
the size of the circle on the map representing a faction's system isn't a representation of the physical size of the system in-game, but is a representation of how many & how big the markets in the system are, IE a smaller system has fewer & smaller markets than a large circle.
Anar, Askonia & Aztlan for example can be immediately seen as being the economic hearts of the sector, whereas Penelope & Duzahk are dead systems with 0 markets, so any circle nearing their size is immediately recognizable as a back-water

Am I allowed to place my systems there even though I have not released my mod yet? I can remove them if you want and post them later if you want...
Perhaps I could keep them there unless there is some conflict with another mod?

If you intend to release something somewhat soon-ish it's okay but if you hold a spot for 6 months or more without a playable mod that could be considered rude.

Removed my previous reply; due to what seems like a corruption of my editing programs i am unsure whether the Crystanite will be updated to the new version.

Removed the Star Wars Rebalanced Systems, the mod will stall for unknown amount of time while the ships are created/edited.

This is still relevant, yes. I have seen more systems added over time since the last time I came here to update my own. Same applies to the names list also in the forum

Does anyone know how to change my faction colour?
Determine the Color. Needs to be identical to the faction column in the systems list.
To change your faction color, got to advanced Edits in the chart, select your serie to the bottom and change the color.
I don't know what this means, what is advanced edits?

Please avoid placing foreign objects in the core world that have detrimental effect on the core factions. Consider moving them out if you have done so. Solar power plant in Corvus and Outpost Tiger in Askonia irk me. They already have pirates so your harassment is probably redundant. It serve very little purpose but to glorify thy faction by sending your helpless patrol to their doom.
Duzahk, Penelope's star, Tia - Ta'xet are Pirates/Pather spawn points. Please don't place anything there either, they probably can't spawn there when you do.

This is a pretty cool and useful tool! Helped me avoid a system name collision 8)
I also added mine, but couldn't seem to figure out how to set the colors. I tried changing the cell background for my lines to try and see if it auto-picks up but it didn't :(
Any help would be appreciated.

Would love to see the Map updated for the non-modders that way we know where all the mod factions are.
Since i do see many factions that are no longer up to date as well as missing several newer ones.

Updated the vanilla systems to 0.9.1's positions.

I still find this map confusing...
I think it would be easier that instead of the Star System names, we see the name of the Faction on said Star System.
Let's say for example Outer Terminus (instead of showing the name of the Star System show the name of the Faction that owns it)
I mostly say this since many Factions in the list end up sharing the same color palette so i have no idea where they start.
And also some mod Factions are more well known that others. So it makes the less known mods harder to pinpoint when the color palette is not that varied.

Added paradisus to the map (despite not being released to the public yet) and fixed configuration error that was making Dogstar to be missing, now it shows :)

An update (seems to be the 25 September at 18h57, but it is what google tells me with my time zone UTC+2) has removed much, if not all the coordinates of modded systems.
I added back some of them : Dassault-Mikoyan, Scy Nation, Outer Rim Alliance, Diable Avionics, Luddic Enhancement, Legio Infernalis (from Tahlan), Volkov Industrial Conglomerate.
Not sure I have completely understood the market force (I have converted all market size, then make the sum for the system).

Added Mosta (well, technically it was already present but lacked coords), Taivassija, and Agustin from Gudalanmu, Goathead Aviation Bureau, and ApproLight respectively.
EDIT: But for some reason, Taivassija isn't properly displaying a circle. I'm pretty sure I set everything properly?

re-added keruvim and exalted since the map reverting removed them, seems some mods made keruvims space home, but i aint movin! oh well.

Hello there. Sorry I was unaware that the map got reset. I re-added the Hiver, JYD and CFT systems though Hiver being so far to the top left you have to scroll out a bit to see them. Also, TTSC does not add new systems so they are not represented on the map.

Same as above, but I just wanted to add it was your post showing in the forum preview that brought the issue to my attention.
