Title: Friendly Fire Incidents
Post by: ciago92 on December 01, 2015, 03:16:14 PM
I've had three battles now where I am 100% certain that at no point did I ever cause friendly fire, but I still lose reputation due to "significant friendly fire incidents". Is it possible that I'm being dinged for ANY instance of friendly fire regardless of who caused it? I can't really provide proof unless you want me to start recording entire large battles (and I have no clue what software to use to do such a thing) but I'm running a beam wolf with missiles and have been dinged in fights where I never fired a single missile. Unless the beams are somehow doing significant friendly fire damage (which would probably necessitate a look at the firing AI in its own right I'd imagine) when I'm not paying attention there should be no way for me to have caused damage to allies.

Ahh, good call. That's what was going on - any friendly damage to allied ships was being attributed to the player. Fixed.
